Doxford Barns Wedding Photography. Hugh and Jo were such a gorgeous, stylish couple who couldn’t wait to marry each other! Their wedding was so much fun. From prep in the morning until the epic dance party in the evening, Hugh and Jo put on an amazing day for their family and friends, celebrating their love in style!

Jo and Hugh tied the knot at the beautiful venue that is Doxford Barns. Based in Northumberland, close to Alnwick, it’s a working farm perfect for couples looking for a rustic, boho wedding venue in the North East. The ‘Threshing Hall’ ceremony barn dates back to the 18th century and is adorned with oak beams and classic stone work, which creates a really atmospheric vibe for a ceremony.

Jo looked beautiful in her two piece top and skirt, complimented by her equally stylish bridesmaids. Hugh and the boys opted for blue fitted suits which looked great with the bright buttonholes and Hugh’s cute wolf cufflinks. I loved the flower choice too, nice and bright and perfect for Summer!

Little touches I absolutely loved were the steel band that played for guests during the drinks reception. ‘Cake By The Ocean’ playing on steel drums as you sipped a cocktail under the July sunshine really set the vibe for their boho barn wedding. Hook a duck to keep the kids entertained was also pretty epic, and the gin bar serving cocktails was a special touch too!

Their day was just full of love and happiness, it was pretty special.
